MAN as Movers
The Men’s Anti-violence Network has established a group of business,
civic and community leaders dedicated to stopping interpersonal violence
by holding perpetrators accountable and working on prevention efforts.
MAN as Movers will focus on changing public policy and increasing
public awareness.
Domestic and sexual violence, bullying, and gang violence are all
community issues. The men of MAN as Movers are standing up to say
that violence is unacceptable in this community. This influential group
is partnering with other violence prevention organizations, business
leaders, the Utah Governor’s office, the Utah Attorney General’s office,
the Utah Board of Pardons, ReaL Salt Lake and law enforcement to develop
effective and high-profile programs in the areas of perpetrator
accountability and prevention. MAN as Movers will lobby at the state
legislature, speak before community groups, and develop public awareness
campaigns. The men of MAN as Movers are:

MAN as Movers will
also have other committees for you to volunteer on. The Public
Awareness Committee will focus on promoting MAN and any media or public
service announcements and the Policy/Legislative Committee will work on
strengthening Utah Laws.
